How to Get to Ojai
Hello Family,
We are thrilled to invite you to the beautiful Turtle Conservancy in Ojai, California! This unique property is a private sanctuary, not open to the public, so there isn’t a booking website we can share. Instead, we’ll handle all accommodations for you.
The Conservancy features charming casitas of varying sizes spread throughout the property, some with multiple rooms to accommodate families. Each casita will either have its own kitchen or access to a shared kitchen. The grounds include multiple pools, sprawling orange and avocado groves, and yes, more turtles than you can count!
Since Nika knows the property intimately, she will personally assign everyone to their casitas. If you have any special accommodations, considerations, or housing preferences, please let us know in your RSVP.
Travel Recommendations
Flying:
The Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) is the closest option, located about an hour’s drive away.
If you prefer to fly into LAX, plan for a roughly two-hour drive to Ojai (depending on traffic).
Driving:
There are technically two properties so once Casitas have been assigned Nika will follow up with everyone and provide the correct address to you: For now if you are curious about where you are heading you can input:
1794 McNell Rd Ojai, CA 93023
Prescott to Ojai 8.5 Hours
Santa Cruz to Ojai 5ish Hours
When should I arrive?
We’ve reserved the entire property from Friday to Monday, and we’d love for you to arrive on Friday if you’re able. Think of it as an invitation to slow down, settle in, and soak up a little extra magic before the festivities begin. This weekend is about connection, and we want to spend as much time with you as you’re willing to give.
That said, we know it’s a holiday weekend, and travel plans may vary. If you can’t join us on Friday, please plan to arrive by 1 PM on Saturday, as that’s when the weekend officially begins.
Will I need a Car?
There will be a lot of people driving to Ojai so there will be plenty of vehicles to choose from if you need to run into town. You do not need a car to get to the ceremony location or any of the scheduled activities.
